 LOOKING FOR SIGNS OF SPRING?

SPROUT SOME SPROUTS

NATURE'S LITTLE POWERHOUSE

BURSTING WITH VITAMINS AND MINERALS,

SPROUTS ARE A GREAT SOURCE OF NUTRIENTS

AND FUN TO GROW!

Sprouting sprouts so simple even a child could do it. Hey, what a great idea! Get the whole family involved.

Equipment needed:

OPTION #1

•1 Amazing Nut-MIlk Bag (click on 'products')

• Seeds for sprouting (preferably organic). Start with alfalfa. They're the easiest.

OPTION #2

•1 Large mason jar

• 1 Mesh lid with ring (available at a health food store)

or several pieces of cheescloth and a metal ring

• Seeds for sprouting (preferably organic). Start with alfala. They're the easiest .

Instructions:

Simply soak the seeds over night in water. The next day, drain and place them in the mason jar or nut bag. If you're using a mason jar, make sure the lid is firmly secured and invert, allowing any excess moisture to escape (I rest mine in the dish tray). Alternatively, if you're using the nut bag, simply let it hang freely with a container underneath to catch the water drips. Rinse your sprouts twice a day and eat them when ready. If you want them to 'green up', simply put them in a sunny window after they've begun to sprout. Enjoy!
